Local children from the Tlingit Nation created formline designs for the booklet. I recreated the orginal drawings in Adobe Illustrator and included them throughout the book. Local Tlingit were also consulted with to find, edit and approve use of a local story that is included in the booklet to teach land ethic.

Desired outcomes
To provide fun and diverse activities that local children can accomplish in a limited time frame; to help teach kids about their local environment.

Local students from the Tlingit Nation were awarded certificates during a ceremony at Mendenhall Glacier Visitor
